About Leonardo.Ai
Leonardo.Ai is an AI image generation platform built with a particular focus on creative professionals and game developers who need production-ready visual assets, offering fine-tuned control over style, consistency, and output quality beyond what a general-purpose image generator typically provides. Users can generate images from text prompts using a range of specialized and community-trained models tuned for specific visual styles, from photorealistic renders to particular game-art aesthetics, and Leonardo's canvas editing tools let users selectively regenerate or extend parts of an image, similar to how a designer might use inpainting and outpainting in traditional image editing software, rather than only being able to regenerate an entire image from scratch. Its training tools let users fine-tune custom models on their own reference images, which is particularly valuable for game studios and brands that need consistent character designs, textures, or props across many generated assets rather than one-off images that don't share a coherent visual style with each other. Leonardo also offers real-time image generation for rapid concept iteration and specialized tools like texture generation for 3D game assets, reflecting its roots serving the game development community specifically. The platform's free tier gives casual users a meaningful number of daily generations to experiment with, while paid plans unlock higher-resolution outputs, private generations, and more daily credits for professionals using it as part of a regular creative production pipeline.
