Superhuman

Superhuman is an email client built around speed and keyboard-driven efficiency, layering a completely redesigned interface, AI writing assistance, and productivity features on top of existing Gmail and Outlook accounts, aimed at professionals who spend a large part of their workday in their inbox and want to move through email meaningfully faster than the standard web interface most email providers offer. Its keyboard shortcuts let experienced users navigate, archive, snooze, and respond to email without touching a mouse at all, and Superhuman actively trains new users through onboarding sessions to build the muscle memory needed to use those shortcuts fluently, treating fast email usage as a learnable skill rather than assuming users will discover shortcuts on their own through trial and error. Features like Split Inbox let users automatically separate email into different categories, such as messages from real people versus automated notifications, so the most important messages don't get buried in a single undifferentiated inbox, and read statuses show when a sent email has actually been opened by the recipient. Superhuman's AI features can draft replies, summarize long email threads, and help write messages in a user's own established tone, reducing the time spent on routine email composition. Because it works on top of a user's existing email account rather than requiring a completely new email address, adopting Superhuman doesn't mean migrating contacts or historical email data to a new system.
