About Sharly AI
Sharly AI lets users upload long documents, such as research papers, legal contracts, financial reports, or textbooks, and then chat with an AI assistant that has read the full document, asking specific questions and getting answers grounded in that document's actual content rather than having to manually read and search through dozens or hundreds of pages to find a specific piece of information. Once a document is uploaded, Sharly generates a summary and lets users ask follow-up questions in plain language, with answers citing the specific section or page of the source document the information came from, which helps users verify that an answer is accurately grounded in the actual text rather than a hallucinated response disconnected from the source material. This is particularly useful for professionals who regularly need to extract specific information from long, dense documents, like a lawyer reviewing a lengthy contract for specific clauses, a student trying to understand a dense academic paper, or an analyst digging through a long financial report for particular figures, all tasks where manually scanning the entire document for one specific answer is slow and error-prone. Sharly supports multiple document formats and can handle very long documents that would exceed what a user could practically read and retain in a single sitting. The tool is aimed at knowledge workers, students, and researchers who regularly work with long-form documents and want faster, more targeted access to specific information within them.
