I built Strandweave after years of consulting and research, where valuable project knowledge often lived in interviews, workshops, client calls and planning sessions, then disappeared into recordings, notes and memory. I wanted a better way to turn those conversations into useful, reliable context without automatically sending sensitive material to a cloud service. Strandweave is the local-first Mac app I built to do that.

Strandweave is a private, local-first Mac app that turns your conversations into lasting project memory.
Record customer calls, interviews, planning sessions and meetings, then turn them into reviewed transcripts, summaries, decisions and actions you can find and reuse later.
Instead of leaving useful context scattered across recordings, notes and chat threads, Strandweave builds a structured record of what your project has learned.
Use it as a private memory layer for your work, then export approved context to Markdown, Obsidian, documents or AI tools when you need it. Your recordings and transcripts stay on your Mac by default, and you decide what gets shared with external AI services.
Built for macOS.
