ShipStation is web-based shipping software that helps online retailers process and fulfill orders efficiently across many sales channels and carriers. It imports orders automatically from marketplaces, shopping carts, and platforms like Shopify, Amazon, eBay, Etsy, and Walmart into one queue, then lets a seller compare rates across carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL, and regional options, buy discounted labels, print them in batches, and generate packing slips and customs forms. Automation rules can apply the right service, package, and insurance based on order attributes, and the platform handles branded tracking pages, a self-service returns portal, and reporting on shipping spend and performance. A mobile app and a scan-to-verify workflow support warehouse picking and packing. ShipStation is owned by Auctane, which has been consolidating its developer tools into a unified ShipStation API for businesses that want to embed rating, label, and tracking capabilities in their own systems.
