## About Formbricks

Formbricks is an open-source experience management platform for running surveys and collecting user feedback, positioned as a privacy-first alternative to tools like Qualtrics, Typeform, and Sprig. From one platform, teams can create link surveys to share by URL or email, and in-product surveys that appear as pop-ups or embedded prompts triggered by user actions or attributes, so they can ask the right people a question at the right moment, such as after onboarding or when a user hits a particular feature. It includes a large template library, logic and branching, partial response capture, and the ability to connect responses to a user's profile and behavior for segmentation. Responses can be piped to other tools through integrations and webhooks. Because it is open source under a copyleft license and built by a German company that emphasizes data ownership, teams can self-host the whole platform with Docker to keep survey data on their own infrastructure and meet compliance requirements, or use the managed cloud. Formbricks is one of the more actively maintained open-source options in this space. It is free to self-host, and offers a free cloud tier plus paid cloud plans that raise response limits and add advanced features and support.
