Fitbod is a strength-training app that generates a personalized workout each time a user opens it, removing the planning and decision-making from lifting. Based on a user's goals, experience level, available equipment, and history of what they trained and how they recovered, its algorithm picks the exercises, sets, reps, and suggested weights for the session, deliberately varying and balancing muscle groups so recovery is respected and no area is overtrained or neglected. It includes video demonstrations and instructions for every movement, a large exercise library covering gym machines, free weights, bodyweight, and minimal-equipment home setups, a rest timer, and logging with charts that track volume, muscle recovery, and strength gains over time. Fitbod syncs with Apple Health and Google's health data and works with the Apple Watch. It is aimed at people who want structured resistance training without hiring a coach or following a rigid multi-week program, from beginners learning the movements to intermediate lifters who want the app to handle progression. Fitbod won an Apple Editor's Choice award and has a large user base. It offers a small number of free workouts to try, then a paid monthly or annual subscription that unlocks unlimited workouts and the full feature set.
