Fantastical

Fantastical, made by Flexibits, is a calendar application for Mac, iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and Windows that layers a more powerful and polished interface on top of a user's existing calendar accounts from Google, Apple, Microsoft, and others. Its signature feature is natural-language event creation: typing a phrase like a lunch with a colleague on Friday at noon at a named cafe parses into a fully formed event with the right time, location, and invitee. Beyond that it integrates tasks and reminders alongside events, offers calendar sets that switch between work and personal contexts, proposal and availability tools for finding meeting times without back-and-forth, time zone support, interesting-calendar subscriptions for things like sports schedules and holidays, weather in the forecast view, and deep integration with video conferencing links. Flexibits also makes a companion contacts app, Cardhop, and bundles the two. Fantastical is aimed at people who spend a lot of time scheduling and want a faster, better-looking alternative to the default calendar apps. It offers a free tier with core calendar functionality, and a Fantastical Premium subscription, billed for an individual or a family, that unlocks the scheduling tools, calendar sets, tasks integration, and other advanced features across all devices.
