CurlShot

CurlShot is a screenshot API: one HTTP request turns a URL, your own HTML or Markdown into an image (PNG, JPEG, WebP), a PDF, or a scrolling video (MP4, WebM, GIF).

What it does

• Full-page captures with lazy images loaded on the way down
• Phone, tablet and desktop presets, retina density and dark mode
• Cookie banners, ads, trackers and chat bubbles hidden before the capture (on most sites)
• One element by CSS selector, selectable-text PDFs, scrolling videos
• Caching, signed links, async jobs with signed webhooks, bulk runs of up to 100 URLs

Who it's for

Developers adding link previews, Open Graph images or PDFs to a product, teams automating reports and visual checks in n8n or their own scripts, and builders giving AI agents a way to look at web pages through the built-in MCP server (take_screenshot, list_devices).
