When errors are reported through SDKs, they automatically become cards on your project board where teams can triage, assign, comment, and track them to resolution. Or simply just freelancers managing client projects. --- ## Features ### Core Functionality - **Kanban Board** — drag-and-drop cards between columns, list view, real-time WebSocket collaboration via Laravel Reverb/Echo, optimistic updates with automatic rollback on error - **Error Ingestion** — official SDKs for JavaScript, TypeScript, and PHP push errors to a single API endpoint, authenticated via bearer (publishable) or HMAC-signed (secret) keys - **Auto-Deduplication** — duplicate errors are fingerprinted and merged into a single card with occurrence counts instead of flooding the board - **In-Transit Payload Encryption** — optional per-project keypairs for encrypting error payloads before they leave the clint - **Analytics Dashboard** — severity, priority, workflow-funnel, and tag charts, top errors, and aging issues over 24h/7d/30d/all-time ranges - **Team Management** — multi-tenant projects, role-based access (Admin, Member, Viewer) and invitations. ### Project & Task Management - Card detail with comments, attachments, tags, priority/severity, and inline editing - Configurable filters (search, priority, severity, tags, assignee, column, origin, sort) with cursor-based pagination for archived tasks - Project settings: general info (name, URL, timezone, short description), API key management, encryption key management, task escalation/reopen rules, and notification preferences - Per-project **pause** (reversible, frees a plan slot), **archive** (terminal, read-only), and **delete** (notifies all members by email) - Auto-escalation of stale or spiking tasks, run hourly per project timezone - Activity log with user attribution, day-grouped pagination, and plan-based retention --- ## How It Works 1. **Integration** — install the SDK in your app [GitHub](https://github.com/bug-board/) 2. **Error Reporting** — errors are sent to BugBoard's API endpoint with bearer token or HMAC authentication; both SDKs are fire-and-forget, deliver in the background with retry/backoff, and never throw 3. **Auto-Deduplication** — duplicate errors are merged into a single card with occurrence counts 4. **Team Triage** — your team assigns, comments, and moves cards through custom columns 5. **Monitoring** — analytics track error trends and resolution patterns ## Developer note I built BugBoard because I was exhausted by broken debugging workflows. I was tired of email notification spam, managing webhooks between tools like Sentry and Trello, and constantly context-switching just to keep my team synced. I didn't need all the bloated features heavy platforms offer just to manage bugs.
