## About Airtable

Airtable is a platform that started as a hybrid of a spreadsheet and a database and has grown into a system for building business applications. At its core is the base, a collection of linked tables with typed fields, records, and relationships that feels approachable like a spreadsheet but behaves like a database, with multiple views such as grid, kanban, calendar, gallery, and timeline over the same data. On top of that, Airtable provides an interface designer for building tailored front ends for different users, automations that trigger actions on record changes or schedules, and extensions and an API for deeper customization, so teams run workflows like content calendars, product roadmaps, applicant tracking, and inventory in it. In 2025 the company announced a refounding as an AI-native platform and introduced Omni, a conversational AI builder that scaffolds a working app, tables, interfaces, and automations, from a description and helps analyze and iterate on data. Airtable is used by hundreds of thousands of organizations, including a large share of the biggest companies. It offers a free plan with limits on records and features, and paid per-seat plans that raise those limits and add automations, admin controls, and the AI capabilities.
