## About Ahrefs

Ahrefs is an SEO software suite built on top of one of the largest independent web crawlers and backlink indexes, which it uses to power research and analysis tools for marketers. Site Explorer shows the backlink profile, organic keywords, estimated traffic, and paid search activity for any domain or URL, which makes it a standard tool for competitor analysis and link building. Keywords Explorer provides search volume, difficulty, and click estimates across many search engines, Site Audit crawls a site to find technical SEO problems, Rank Tracker monitors keyword positions over time, and Content Explorer searches a large database of pages to find popular content and link prospects. Ahrefs has added features for the AI era, including an AI Content Helper that tailors recommendations to search intent, and Brand Radar for tracking how often a brand is cited in answers from ChatGPT and other large language models, plus a server that lets AI assistants query Ahrefs data directly. It also runs its own privacy-focused search engine. Ahrefs is sold primarily as a paid subscription across tiers priced by usage limits and users, with a limited free set of tools for verified owners of their own websites.
