## How it works

Jay runs daily. Any signed-in owner of a published, non-reported product can sponsor one of these runs on the advertise page: choose a distance of 2-10 km at $3.00/km and pay once (a $6.00-$30.00 range). One sponsor per day - the next open UTC day is assigned automatically at checkout, with no fixed booking window.

On the day of the sponsored run, the sponsoring product takes the first slot in the Launched Today section on the homepage. There is no automated proof-of-run mechanism: the run itself is tracked and posted manually, off-platform, by Jay (Strava, X). If a run is missed, refunds are issued manually on a case-by-case basis rather than automatically.

A successful Sponsored Run purchase also adds its price to the product's permanent Leading Bids total, the same mechanic as a promoted sidebar slot purchase. The homepage placement is for one day only; the Leading Bids contribution is permanent and is not reversed even if the underlying Sponsored Run payment is later refunded.
